Define the purpose

Write down where you will use the shoes: walking, running, training or a pitch. Compare models intended for the same activity, according to the manufacturer. The label “sports shoes” is not enough.

Check the size guide

Do not assume an EU size fits identically across brands. Measure your feet following the manufacturer’s instructions and check the particular model’s guide. Consider width where specified. A chart is guidance, not a guarantee of comfort.

Make a short list

Choose a few models with the right intended use. Check construction, materials and care information. A higher price alone does not mean a better fit.

Plan the fitting

Check the seller’s return process and costs before ordering. Follow its conditions when trying shoes on. Do not choose an uncertain size simply because it is cheaper.
